its typically 25 or married. you could have gotten married and the discount would have been similar.Originally posted by Brando19Originally posted by Freak OutYou should get a much better rate unless you have a bunch of priors or something. I just switched to progressive and love it....I thought the age was 24 though?Originally posted by Brando19I'm going to be 25 on March 19. I'm excited because my insurance will go down (not sure how much but every cent counts!), but I'm not excited because I'm getting older. Life goes by fast.
I don't have any priors. It's 25 according to my insurance. Unless they've been screwing me this whole time. An insurance company screwing ya? NAHHHH

Did you tell them you were married? Something tells me that otherwise they wouldn't have gotten the memo.Originally posted by Brando19I am married and my insurance didn't change...my insurance company called me a few weeks ago to tell me my insurance will be dropping on March 19 when I turn 25.Originally posted by Little Whiskeyits typically 25 or married. you could have gotten married and the discount would have been similar.Originally posted by Brando19Originally posted by Freak OutYou should get a much better rate unless you have a bunch of priors or something. Yeah because we both had different insurances and switched to this one together after we got married. When they called me a couple weeks ago...I wasn't home so they told my wife to inform her husband that our insurance will be lowering due to my birthday.Originally posted by SkinBasketDid you tell them you were married? We are pretty excited here. Almost 2 months ago my daughter filled out an application for a young woman's political retreat in Washington D.C. this summer for girls in H.S. (she's in 9th). It was a pretty lengthy application plus a couple essays. She also had to get recommendations from teachers at her school. A few weeks ago I called there to find out when we would be hearing something and was told they would be making decisions mid March. I was told they had over 5,000 applications and they only accept 50 girls. After hearing that I told my daughter not to be upset if she doesn't get selected because she's only in 9th and w/ that many applications it would be tough to get in. Well, two of her friends that also applied got their letters they were not accepted.....so either she made some kind of preliminary cut off or we will be hearing good news soon.
Keeping my fingers crossed we will booking a flight soon!
