That sucks, B. I have a 13 year old cat (at my parents home) and he is starting to feel like mush when you pick him up. We recently got a Black Lab puppy and I'm so attached to her...I couldn't imagine losing her. Hope your kids are ok.

I buried the family dog when I was 14. It was winter so I just rolled a couple of heavy rocks on her, but it's the thought that counts, right?

Got the first tomatoes in from the garden today--and the wild ones have finally sprouted. The peas resprouted too. If only the carrots and lettuce would have germinated I could have salad for dinner.

If it makes you feel any better, only one of the pepper plants is producing anything and it's only flowering so far. The herbs are going nuts though. Fresh oregano, chives thyme and lemon basil on the pasta. MMMMmmmm.
