My favorite camera shop is closing, so I got a new camera on sale yesterday on my lunch hour. It's my first dSLR a Canon Rebel T3i. I bought it for the flip screen. It's also relatively compact for an SLR. Now I will go get a flash for it and as soon as they come in I can look at macro lenses. Then I can take a class and see if I can figure out how to use this crazy thing.

Back when I was looking for cameras I ended up getting one which was an upgrade from what I had (not saying a lot) but still not what I'm looking for to get good pics of my son's sports. I was thinking without a class I won't know what the hell I'm doing with a fancy camera anyway...lol Well I finally found a place I can take a class! So I want to start looking for a good camera again. Let me know what you think of the Rebel. I'm pretty sure that is the camera that PIP had and pics she showed me of games she attended were very good.

I don't remember what she was using, though I do know it's a Canon. I made the jump up not only because of a good sale, but because with the new shorter commute, I have a lot more time to get out and shoot and learn.

Equal parts bourbon, brown sugar and soy sauce.....mix well and coat salmon with it. Grill or cook in the oven with a nice broil right at the end. Yum.C.H.U.D.Comment

My passive-aggressive dog!
If I'm busy in kitchen and not showing her attention (and she has no comfy place to lay) she will go to the patio door and scratch like she has to go out and go potty. I walk over, open the door and she turns around and walks away. I go back to what I was doing and the little fart will wait about 10 min. and go back and do the same thing. She has such a self-righteous look on her face when she does it too!!! lolComment
