Why do we even need to know? Madtown could easily have sold out, continued to post occasionally (or not), and never told anybody.

We could conceivably never find out who the new owner is, and if he/she keeps hands off and does a reasonably sane job, nobody would ever be the worse for not knowing.

If I was the new guy (don't worry, I'm not), I don't think I'd tell anybody.

Do you think this thread is tasteful, Blue? I've always known you to be an emotional cripple, but this thread is below even your shitty standards.

There can be only one: Logan Mankins

And he can have a Sean Connery avatar too, although it wouldn't be as tasteful as Zool's. I thought I was having a hard time concentrating with Skin's mouse/hand avatar, or Bretsky's first Bikini Girl av, but Connery in a G-String is too much.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

All excellent suggestions. Ziggy or Bretsky would be great too.

But are any of these people dumb enough to take the job? Maybe.

I think the problem is that Madtown is burnt-out, or was burnt about a year ago.

I have ideas that could make Mad's role and life here much more pleasant. We should have a three-person board that is elected, serves as moderators, and deals with the shit. Perhaps 6 month or 1 year shifts.

I don't completely believe that Mad wants to give-up the place. He has a love-hate relationship. I will not elaborate.
Rumor has it that Computers For Dummies was written with me in mind. Come to think of it, I still need to figure out how to use that camera I bought a while ago. Doesn't come with any film which is real weird. I'll have to pass.

The statute of Madtown has been yanked down and beaten with shoes... now what?

At least Harlan is offering the illusion of democracy.

Well, I don't know what will happen now. We've got some difficult days ahead. But it doesn't matter with me now. Because I've been to the mountaintop. And I don't mind. Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I'm not concerned about that now. I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land. And I'm happy, tonight. I'm not worried about anything. I'm not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.

I'm for the brotherhood of everybody, but I don't believe in forcing brotherhood upon people who don't want it. Long as we practice brotherhood among ourselves, and then others who want to practice brotherhood with us, we practice it with them also, we're for that. But I don't think that we should run around trying to love somebody who doesn't love us.
