The television series was very entertaining as well. It just came out on DVD, and I'm thinking about springing for it.

I would say the movie was sort of like the a Simpson's cartoon, only a little cruder.

It's one of the few comedies I've gone to in a long time where I actually laughed.

I'm not alone after all. I'm a big Amy (and David) Sedaris fan, and I thought the Strangers with Candy TV show was one of the most brilliant things around. I also couldn't believe some of the crap they got away with.

I've heard the movie is pretty good, though maybe too long. Doesn't matter, I'm all over it. If Blue Dog dug it, it's got to be at least a little funny.

Either that, or over-the-top dramatic.
