That business must be very successful with so much traffic!
Depends on how many were there to order water.

Is that what those people are doing? They probably have the COEXIST bumper sticker on their car.
After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.

There was a call for people to go to CFA and order a large water as a response to Huckabee's call. In other news, CFA just got slapped with a gender discrimination suit. They're having a great couple weeks.

        • It would just be nice if these people could be a little more progressive and open minded and be inclusive to a different point of view.

If you have the money to waste it's not hard to slap meaningless lawsuits to gin up bad publicity. Winning the lawsuit isn't the point. Slapping the lawsuit is the point.

As a young Lyndon Johnson once said to a campaign aide who protested to his boss that the campaign could never prove the shocking charge that his political opponent had sexual relations with pigs, "We don't have to prove it. We just have to make the sonuvabitch deny it."

            • This is an every day occurrence is companies of this size. Of course, when it fits an agenda, then it's BIG news!

It takes zero evidence to file one of these claims, and far more often than not, that's exactly how much evidence there is. I've read enough of their briefs to know.

CFA has not been "slapped" with anything. A former employee is upset and trying to get some cash. I bet if anyone took the time to read CFA's response which details why they fired her, they would feel stupid for thinking this is some kind of news worthy event. Of course, that filing will get about zero headlines.

Big news? It's on the site of the powerhouse the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) I'm sure this is a site you frequent a lot for its news value, but in the global media spectrum I wouldn't call that big news...

Jesus man, it was the first site that came up. Stop being such a faggot. And I don't mean that in the gay way, because there's nothing wrong with that, just with being a buttplug, and by buttplug, I don't mean a gay guy, I mean an asshole. Obviously it's making it's rounds in liberal progressive circles (dailykos, huffpo, Jon Stewart and the rest of the absolute sources of truth for those folks) or it wouldn't have been brought up here. Point being, if there weren't an agenda behind it, it wouldn't be "news" at all.

From my observations, that "counter-counter" protest, if it was a real thing, was a massive fail. I'm sure in some circles everyone will know someone who knew someone who totally spent 10-15 minutes in line to order a water and totally "stuck it to the man," but there was no evidence of people trying to disrupt a positive and market based demonstration of support for free speech and religious freedom unburdened by threats from government with such vitriolically juvenile foolishness.

The Chick Fil A folks were very considerate and proactive in directing traffic through the double loop system that surround their store and taking orders out in the sun to expedite the process. The folks there to eat were also very orderly given the congestion. There was no honking of horns or yelling or pooping in public. There was no derision of gay people, gay marriage, or anything else queer. People were considerate, patient, and otherwise very decent Americans.

                    • So your media is politically coloured, great find. But to keep your theme going, it swings both ways, amigo. Ask sooner, he has some nice cowboy sites that might be more of your liking.

PS: how's the diablo market coming along?

I'm sure unemployed ex-fast food employees have money to waste. Actually, Skin, I read it at this liberal bastion: http://www.businessinsider.com/a-for...ination-2012-7

It doesn't cost the person filing the lawsuit jack shit to do so. Although I've seen several of them empty their savings to pay a "lawyer" in the hopes of striking it rich because they think the companies will just roll over and give them tens of thousands of dollars and the lawyers certainly aren't going to disillusion them of that as long as they're getting paid. Most of the time, when these people lose these suits that cost the companies tens of thousands of dollars to defend, the most the judge will order them to pay is copying costs, and that's only in the most frivolous cases.

As far as your website goes, I'm sure a "news" site that covers "Here's What It Costs To Compete In Dressage" in it's politics section and runs the same newsfeed as dailykos and huffingtonpost and glaad is a wonderfully unbiased source of the most important information of the day. In the words of Tyler Durden, "sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken." Likewise, giving your website some ubiquitously ambiguous name does not make it a reliable source of information. Like I said before, let's see how many of these sites report CFA's legal response that lays out their side of the story, their method of, and reasons for her termination. I'm guessing none. Not even businessinsider.

Great. Thanks for the tip. I didn't realize the internet wasn't all true.

Not good. Like a certain website I won't name, Blizzard has totally mismanaged the handling of the game and has driven off a large portion of it's players. They also aren't attracting enough new players and keeping them interested long enough to sustain the game's economy. So you've got the same people trying to sell each other their junk and they keep wondering why no one's buying. Sounds familiar, yes?

Also, we've been too busy preparing for our trip to Belize and shuttling the kids to doctor appointments and trying to fix up the house and eating chicken to adequately farm new stuff to sell.
