Dear Scrubs,

You stopped being entertaining when you switched from cheeky comedy to dramady to unnaturally prolong the series. A poignant moment to punctuate the comedy is one thing. Losing the series in a jumbled mass of convoluted subplots is another. You died a slow and painful death like many others before you, and that is the real tragedy.

Well, I disagree with you guys. Clearly most people do as well, as the show managed 8 years, which is nearly as long as Seinfeld and Friends, two of the sitcoms television producers strive to emulate.

If we're using seasons as a measure, Guiding Light's been going since 1937 and Days of Our Lives has been airing since 1965. Just because something's on the air for longer than it should be doesn't mean it's good. Scrubs was constantly in danger of being axed, and was before switching networks, due to low ratings after the 3rd or 4th season. About the time it because a dramady.

Obviously it still appealed to some people, but so do soap operas. Nothing wrong with that.

@little whiskey I don't use twitter but its my understanding that this is the format. It's an open ended message unless you address someone and then its an @so_and_so. At least thats what I thought
