Re: Careful, boys
Being a little sexist, aren't we? You assume the man was guilty.Originally posted by MJZiggy
Did it ever occur to you that Grandma went psycho and whatever was in her troubled mind became reality to her?
You want to use an example of a 78-year old woman that would beat a 84-year man to death as some sort of a standard?
If she was not off her rocker then imagine what she was like when she was younger.
Don't be a sexist and stereotype. Hope and Change, remember?

She didn't beat him to death. She broke a couple ribs, a few other bones and kicked him in the groin a few times. Don't exaggerate.

Actually, broken ribs and a broken pelvis can be very serious stuff for an 84 year old man. Wonder why it took her 35 years to decide he deserved a beating.I can't run no more

You're right, he didn't die. He just probably wanted to.Originally posted by MJZiggyShe didn't beat him to death. She broke a couple ribs, a few other bones and kicked him in the groin a few times. Don't exaggerate.
I didn't say, I'm just sayin'...
She admitted 3 kicks to the groin over a period of six months. But what did she do that she has not admitted to. Elder abuse is no joke, even if it is another elderly person doing the abuse.
The woman sounds like a witch. Something happened 35 years ago and they have been married how long? Not much love and forgiveness between them apparently.

It's just a hunch, but I wonder if it took her 34 years to find out about it....Originally posted by JoemailmanActually, broken ribs and a broken pelvis can be very serious stuff for an 84 year old man. The next time there is a story of a man beating a woman, I wonder if your response will be "he just broke a couple ribs, oh, and a few other bones."Originally posted by MJZiggyShe didn't beat him to death. She broke a couple ribs, a few other bones.
Sexist pig.
I'm heading to the woods to discuss this with my drumming circle.
