Steve Larsen, World Class endurance athlete, dies at 39

Steve Larsen, a world class endurance athlete from Bend, Oregon, died at age 39 during a track workout.

At one point in his career, he held World Championships in Road Biking, Mountain Biking, track and triathlons. He was a mentor to cyclist Lance Armstrong.
