Florida Town Manager fired for marrying porn actress

A Town Manager in Florida was fired when it was learned that the lady he recently married is a porn actress. Story:

Reports are that he was doing a good job, and everyone was happy with his work. But he is an employee at will, who can be fired for no reason. The town apparently was concerned with their image.

Ya, you really have to wonder how much it would have affected anything if they kept their mouths shut about it. Sure the locals would have known, but so what? As for their image to outsiders, how many non-local people dealing with a town manager even know if he is married or not?
