    Merry Christmas too.
After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.

I was screaming the same thing on this play, "he's holding him!!!!!!!!!!! he was almost turned around"....my six year old son was arguing that he didn't catch the ball in bounds.

You could call holding on every play. They're always grabbing jersey, get over it.

And for PR's resident pagan Tyrone Bigguns, please enjoy that traditional and heart-warming holiday known as the "Winter Solstice."

(Actually, my enslaved mind prefers the message of Luke 2:14, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." But to each his own.)

A Blessed and Old School Christmas To Y'all
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to one and all...
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.
