How old were you when you went to your first bar Harv???
Hmmm... 18 or 19, I think. They didn't card quite as stringently back in the late 80s.

Didn't WI legal age change from 18 to 21 sometime in the 80's?
I think so. My cousin who is 4 years older than me was grandfathered into the 18 limit, so it must have changed before he turned 21 (some time before 1988).

I believe the drinking age went up in 81 or 82. Last state to change their drinking age, god damn interstate tax funding was going to be cut by the national government if Wisconsin didn't change. Wisconsin law makers actually worked the numbers to see if they could make more money on the 18 year old drinking age, and give the finger to the national gooberment, the numbers just didn't work out in the end.
Not too far from Platteville here. I grew up in the oldest city in Wisconsin. Prairie Du Chien. Now living in NE Iowa. Oh and I turn 34 in about a half hour..

Actually, doesn't Louisiana still have a lower age limit, or did until very recently?
