hell yeah.. plus soccer referees are getting bribed with chickens and goats, hooligans are throwing flares at the players, real riots in the stands, faking injuries to get the yellow and red cards then hopping off the stretchers like Mr. Miagi healed them, entire countries getting behind their team..soccer kicks ass for all kinds of reasons that don't even deal with the actual game itself.Originally posted by redComment

It seemed freaky how Kane was the only one celebrating then 10 seconds later the Hawks bench realizes he scores.
Definitely a soft goal to end it. Very few highlight reel goals in this series, a lot of mucking and grinding at the net.
Happy to see the Hawks win. Ecstatic to see someone other than the Dead Wings or the Penguins in the final. I like Pittsburgh, but Crosby is getting a LITTLE too much of a whiner to the refs. Someone checks him hard (but clean) the first thing he does is look to the ref.-digital dean

On a rather sad note, Nelson Mandela's great grand-daughter was killed in a car crash following a Pre-World Cup concert. As a result, Mandela will not be attending the opening ceremonies.
