I'm not sure the Dutch have the necessary quality to play it likes Spain does: at least not with the 11 that started the game yesterday. Their central backs and defending midfielders along with Kuyt do not fit this type of game and are rather limited technically.
What a great side, Spain. The quick passes through the middle might seem easy for the untrained eye, but believe me, this is top level soccer. I can understand that Forlan won the player of the WC award, but Xavi should not be far behind.
Yesterday's game sure wasn't the prettiest of matches, but I'm glad the tournament got the winner it deserved in Spain.Comment
