I guess this show might fall under "Obscure" because only 12 episodes were made... however... I think it's one of the greatest shows ever made!

What was THAT???

The Time Tunnel = The U.S. Government created a time tunnel (a time machine). They selected two guys to test it and sent them back in time. It worked fine but when it was time to bring them back....it didn't work. Instead of bringing them back they would be sent to another random date in history (or even the future).

Each one hour show would take place where ever the time tunnel had taken them. For example....one show they landed on the deck of the Titanic two days before they knew it was going to sink. Another show they "landed" at The Alamo a few days before they knew the battle was going to take place. Another show they "landed" in a concentration camp in Nazi Germany. You get the idea. Each show would be about them dealing dealing with the situation. Government headquarters could see them on their monitors and would be doing what they could to get them out of there. At the end of each show they would get them out and we would see where the time tunnel took them next. But we would have to wait until next week to watch. It was a fun show.
