Yesterday I had my first heat-related casualty. Sitting peacefully in my easy chair, had the cell phone up to my ear, and the sweat from my manly head soaked into the phone and fried it.

I accidentally left one of my kids' chocolate milk in the car yesterday after dropping him off at summer camp. I remembered it this morning and went out to get it. Of course the entire car reeked but the milk carton held a delightful culinary surprise: chocolate cheese!

Ever since mid June the afternoon temp has been over 100F. Last Sat it was 106F.
82F in the AM but 100 or so at noon.

Thank GOD a 30 pack of PBR is 16.28; which does not include tax.

Yes, but you will be subzero again by September. I can take a little heat. Though I will admit that if this keeps up, I may have the a/c in the car looked at this year. Or not. There's only a couple months to go before it cools off again.
