Went to the ATT store today (they're sold out of the 16GB). I played with Siri for a good 10 minutes. I thought this feature was stupid and I would never use it because talking to your phone is weird.
Turns out I've never been more wrong. With the "activate by putting phone to ear", it's really not weird.
It's unbelievably fast, and accurate. I called myself, texted myself, and sent myself in an email in 1/10th the time it would take to type the stuff. I also set-up a calendar thing, checked where the nearest chipotle was, among other things. Soooo freaking cool. The dictation accuracy is shockingly good.
This may be a game changer. This it has to connect to Apple's servers to work, hopefully it doesn't send too much data over the cell network ($$$). I'm completely floored by Siri, and it takes a lot to really impress me with technology. This is the kind of thing that will change your life if you start using it. One of those things that you can't imagine life before it.
