Sony is not going to provide any movies to Netflix. That's a kick in the nuts.

I think what is happening is that all the players in the movie business are ganging-up against Netflix, which has dominated movie rentals. There is no reason why Sony can not stream its own movies.

Netflix was clever to move their mail-only business to a different website. Otherwise "netflix" becomes synonymous with the dying, low-profit mail rentals. The easy money is in streaming, but Netflix has a hard road ahead.

Ever rip a Blu Ray? They average about 25gb. That's a lot of bandwidth for download.

You can get really good H264 compressed 1080P stuff for around 6GB for a 2 hour vid. As I've grown older I've become a classier pirate and will only download at 720P or higher #Snoody.

I love the idea of the streaming only plans from Netflix, but right now the current content isn't there to jsutify the cost. It's a lot like Hulu plus. If those two services were combined for the price of one, it'd be a much better deal. Netflix was a great deal with 2 BluRays a month and unlimited streaming for 8 bucks. This now went to 16ish and that's not nearly as good of a value in my opinion.

16 still gets you 1 BR at a time and streaming, which is better than the preset 2 per month, given it only takes 2 or 3 days, depending on what time you catch your lazy fucknut mail carrier at, for return/delivery.

Edible means you can eat it, not stick it in your ass for pleasure.

Is there anything better than Netflix streaming-wise? I don't no anybody with hulu plus or the amazon one.

i just watched a video comparing the two, and the dude made a great point

it might be best to keep the netflix streaming only for 7.99

                                and

get the blockbuster disk plan which includes games and blue rays WHEN THEY ARE RELEASED, not a month later, for either 9.99 for one disk at a time or 14.99 for 2

i just droped my netflix from the 2 disks at a time with streaming for 2 disks to one. a price difference of 19.99 to 14.99

for a buck or two more you get the best of both worlds
