any of you guys ever use craigs list? I've never made a transaction on it before, but I finally found the type of inexpensive road bike I was looking for and am thinking about jumping on it. I got the guy (out in waukesha) to drop the price and hold the sale for me, so i'm thinking about pouncing. It just seems odd dealing with a person locally. Anyone have any experience with this?

I have bought/sold all kinds of crap on Craigslist and have never had a deal go sour. Props to the real Craig for not selling out cuz he has been offered alot for his site.

Nice! I use craigslist all the time - I had an office next to the original website office in San Fran a few years ago... it's amazing how small an operation they have to run such a well known site.
