My best guess was that it was a bye week thing. The Packers had just beaten the Viqueens in Minneapolis but they really got gouged by Peterson and gave up some long completions to Ponder in his first NFL start. That was a sign of things to come, of course, and pork belly futures may have been a way of processing the anxiety that comes with having a team with an unstoppable offense together with a defense that makes Christian Ponder look like Dan Marino.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostComment
