    Storm! It:s finally just lovely here in Montreal. Before today, the cold has been brutal, going back the past 15 days.

        There's a storm; can we just leave it at that?

        After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.

          Well...we got about 14 inches of snow a few days ago....been XC skiing. Clear and cold now.....just lovely. Now there is a huge storm coming out of the bering sea that is going to hammer Western Alaska....which will be really ugly this time of year with sea ice forming. 80 MPH winds with freezing spray....nice.

                Sowing in the morning, sowing seeds of kindness,

                Sowing in the noontide and the dewy eve;

                Waiting for the harvest, and the time of reaping,

                We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

                Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,

                We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves,

                Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,

                We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

                Sowing in the sunshine, sowing in the shadows,

                Fearing neither clouds nor winter’s chilling breeze;

                By and by the harvest, and the labor ended,

                We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

                Going forth with weeping, sowing for the Master,

                Though the loss sustained our spirit often grieves;

                When our weeping’s over, He will bid us welcome,

                We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

                  Come on Harlan. I bet you've been to the City that never sleeps sometime in your lifetime. Maybe not? and ,,, the aswer to your question is:

                  NO ! Alaska is far far West and North of >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Montreal. Their about a continent East to West apart.

                      They were predicting serious damage at 12-15 foot seas. This is not going to be pretty.

                            My brother is here? Where? He is a big guy and hard to miss.
                            So we had our first snow storm the day of the Chargers game, got about 10 to 12 inches of the white stuff. Started the tractor to clear it from our road, blew a hydrolic line. Started the snow blower to finish the job, Coil wire snaps. Started a fire, had a coffee and watched the Pack win, great day! Then fixed the damn tractor and snow blower.

                              I used to have these problems, then I moved to Texas. I watched the game, then my wife and I got into the hot tub....
