Worst place in the world to eat is England. Maybe I'm unqualified to say that having only been around the world 16 times.

Italy is really good. Maybe even great. Switzerland is out of your mind good no matter where you eat. Just, crazy good. Those people can friggin' cook. The border around France is good, but not a sure thing. Just search for where the most cars are parked.

Oh, and my deceased claimed the best coffee is to be drank in Luxembourg. Meh, it's ok. But she was from Vienna, and boy, they love coffee in Vienna.

Best pastries, in my limited experience: Salzburg, Austria.

Spent a week in Sydney and Canberra (work mostly, sad to say), and absolutely loved it, Tar. A great place.

Schweiz grub is fucking amazing. In the fall when you can get wild game on the menu is my favorite time....no tourists is a plus.

Not sure if it's Bondi, George. I just punched Australia into the search machine. It's as decent as any Sydney beach I grew up on, it looks damned close to Bondi. But I haven't been there in 25 years. I mostly visit beaches some 80km north of Bondi when I go home.
