12.5 inches of snow and another 5-7 predicted tonight. Ugh!

I enjoyed the mild winter we had last year. Love the change in seasons, but really can't see myself living in the midwest the rest of my life. Light snow is fine but when you get hit like this and don't own a 4x4 truck it makes things miserable.

Sorry for the headaches with the storm GB007. Surrounded on all sides by a howling blizzard, Lake Michigan pulled a cozy 35 degree blanket around our shoulders and we enjoyed a gentle rain that has required nothing more than an umbrella thus far, no drifting, no whiteouts, no shoveling, no problem.

    I'm okay with that.

They'll be calling in the locals to shovel out Lambeau Field I imagine. We have about 10" in Wausau, but they might be getting more there. Right now they have snow with 30 mph winds in Green Bay.

Where are you Swede that you're not getting snow?

A couple of hundred yards from Lake Michigan, smack dab in the middle between GB and Milwaukee.

We were expecting to get snow in the early afternoon, but it was 37 at noon and still 35 a few hours later. It finally dropped below freezing around 6:00 but the air had dried out and we're getting a few straggling flakes right now.

$10 an hour if you want to help shovel out Lambeau Field tomorrow. http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/...need-your-help

It's raining here. If we get snow, it will be tomorrow. And it's not my problem to shovel it either.

I was hoping for snow. Nothing here either. They even closed my kids school tomorrow. Granted it was only going to be a half day.

We got about 9" of snow here in FDL. The lowest level is almost water, so it's hard to shovel.

I heard someone in the Milwaukee western 'burbs describe it as having to shovel wet concrete.

Here in Sheerboredom we ended up with 2 inches of fluffy.

You don't like snow? Well, I guess I won't invite you to ski with me at my new home near Snowbird in UT. I hear it's nice and warm in Mobile, AL though.

I'm thinking Arizona for the winters.

You've got my email still...right? Christmas card is on the way.
After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.

Down boy! I was just joking. But seriously, my parents used to have a home about a mile from little cottonwood canyon in SLC. Used to ski at Brighton for cheap. Skied at Alta once; that place was totally out of my league.

Maybe we can still get that world-ending firestorm to melt all this damn snow.
