Sell in may go away don't come back til Labor Day. It's an adage as old as the market, and I think it's about to prove true. I went longer on Western digital and Seagate recently. I think tech pops 20% by year end easily on the right stocks. Broadcom Nvidia Seagate Western digital Micron SanDisk. All winners. Revisit after Christmas and see if I'm right.

supply and demand may matter in the short term, but earnings drives price longer term. Its overpriced based on both right now.Originally posted by Patler View PostAren't there something like twenty-five times as many restricted shares as there were shares in the original public float, with very frequent staged releases for quite some time? The demand for shares will have to be huge to overcome the price dampening from that.
Seems to me there isn't any big rush to buy shares.

Crypto popped as the media needed a fear line heading to midterms and they chose national debt as their boogyman. Will it hold? Hard to say. What we need for bitcoin to skyrocket is for it to be accepted as transaction currency. If that happens it hits 500kOriginally posted by call_me_ishmael View PostNice earnings from Coreweave and Nebius today. I'm still down from my pre-election highs though. Need crypto to get poppin'

I didn't look into it at that level, but maybe I will trim knowing that. Mainly I think they're gonna get to 100B in revenue way faster than people think so it's likely undervalued.

Love Elon....hate his stocks. He wants to change the world. He might. He just will be very slow in making me rich.

Anybody get into SPCX? I think it's about time for me. I'm about to vest some stock at my new job on the 19th and going to sell it and trade it for SPCX I think. Might be a little high right now but I am very bullish long term. You think he can keep going for 15 years? I imagine his work keeps him youthful.

In only reading the part showing up without clicking on the link, I concur. That said I think waiting for a clearer picture makes sense. I can start moving money into MSFT and AMZN and even META for similar exposure except they funded that capex with cash. The case for nice return is much clearer. And nice call on TSM, I said it was a longer term winner, but that earnings beat was so stellar I bought some immediately. I will dump it before China invades in 2028 to try and influence our election though.

I think its a long term winner. Cash flows are really strong. The fear is they took on too much debt and won't be able to get out from under it. Its a prime stock to rally if rates get cut, but that will be story more than reality. They need to prove they can easily finance the debt they took on. I believe they will, but I won't bet on it at this point. Maybe later.Originally posted by Bretsky View PostBOBBLE: any thoughts on Coreweave ? Golden Opportunity, or is the stock shot ?

One of my stock guys is really into it. I don't have a position but could be a good price now if you have some money sitting aside. Me, I'm way too in on high risk data center stuff right now so when I get some money I am just gonna DCA into something safer for a bit lol

Metrics caught up fast. MRVL now trading around the $200 I said I would have sold at. I have no cash to outlay, but the retail OMG it can't go higher panic selling is creating some nice long term value in tech. MU, AVGO, NVDA are all good buys. I sort of saw the micron correction coming as I outlined in a post a couple weeks ago. None of the "tech selloff" is based on fundamentals. If MSFT reports increased capex (I'm almost positive they will) and the market punishes them again I'll probably find a way to initiate. MRVL doesn't have to fall much more before I start issuing puts for some upside exposure. This is a situation where I believe institutional investors are doing their best to stoke fear and get some price drops so they can get more money in at better prices.Originally posted by bobblehead View PostYour late on MRVL. Unless I'm missing something its now overpriced. I had sold puts at $85 not so long ago and just missed having them exercised by 2 days. If they triggered I would have probably made a lot of money. Although I likely would have sold out by $200 since I thought that was a decent price.
