I said left, banned or died. Some who were banned came back as other names, right (Partial, I think). Some just chose not to come back after being banned (Ty Bigguns, I think). Some got banned multiple times (Tank, etc.). The point was that some people just stop contributing for various reasons. I suspect people like Howard, 007, MJ, easy Cheesy, Lurker, Vince, etc. etc. etc. all got themselves lives

More salient points are 1) whether it matters anymore that this site be more than a Packer site. That is, is there a reason to have the wild west, corner bar type of site, (b) Is there any effort to try and expand the number of users, (d) is this kind of blogging dying in favor of stuff like twitter, Facebook, instagram, etc. etc. and would any effort to promote the site be simply pointless in that light.

Finally, don't ban skin - he hardly posts anyway and I enjoy reading his bitching

You bring up valid points about the social media buzz. This software had the ability to do Facebook connect but that would make it so that lots of personal info would be shared so never really considered activating it. I have checked into getting higher rankings on search engines but no type of promoting or advertising.

WTF? You didn't even let these totally legitimate folks post. Dick move. No wonder no one comes back. Your list is a little dishonest, however, without including the multitude of others who have been banned for days, weeks, or months at a time, sometimes several times, before receiving your benevolent pardon. I'm no internet expert, but I'm guessing some of them got tired of being subjected to the arbitrary whims of the little king acting with less decency than the offense they were banned for. But that's just a guess.

The banning bit would be funnier if you hadn't banned me half a dozen times already for little more than pointing out your mistakes, which one would hope you would learn from instead of banning or insulting anyone who makes mentions of them, or for "no reason given," after of course you took the liberty of hurling some personal insults on the public forum. I can only guess there's some kind of strange personal enjoyment in beating up on someone who can't fight back. Verbally of course, because as you've pointed out, I should be very scared of you, so I would never dream of engaging in fisticuffs with someone of your stature and gangsta manliness.

BTW, mad, you never addressed the original point of this thread. Having it on the main page, IMO, was what makes this site great; once it went to RR it turned to shit or got lost. If it had degenerated into something nasty on the main page, I say move it, but if it is fun and freewheeling, why not keep it there?

I do a lot of woodworking and there are woodworking websites that are identical to this one, except that the main forum is woodworking, but that they have a political forum and an 'entertainment' forum. they are generally dreadfully dull.

i didn't move the thread. In case you didn't notice during the offseason I generally let shit go a while. Your Arian Brutha Zool the Nazi boy did. I don't question his decision making because he is white so he is right. But I guessing something set off his Spidey sense.

I also didn't answer your question about the images and proxy shit. Basically workplace networks will have sites filtered out so porn and such can't be accessed. That's when you get the box with a red X. No problem you think but not so. If you have a image linked to a porn site and I open that thread at work and get the red box it shows as a hit to that site on my account regardless. So if everyone was putting coochie pics in every thread it shows you trying to hit those sites. Guest wireless usually has the same restrictions but can't be traced to your user account.

Maybe you clowns should make an icon like the stupid exclamation point you could tack to the thread title to alert the more innocent and/or work browsers that there are pictures linked in that thread. Then they could just not open them and no one would get in trouble for fucking off at work or masturbating in front of their children. Or not. And everyone can suffer inanity for the few.
