So, i go to see the last hobbit movie, just to see how it ends (you know, since it almost has nothing to do with the book)

And then this teaser comes on during the previews

And i creamed my pants a bit. I was a huge fan of the originals, then not so much after the prequels. But it looks like the new movie will have a different feel to it, which is great. more of that new star trek look and feel and less, whatever the fuck lucas did in the prequels

I cant wait till x mas 2015 now

Not Obi Wan, but the Obi wan role - the old wise geezer ROLE. Anywho, I am excited to see Leia adjust her dentures and Han Solo sample various Depends diapers. Should be as exciting as the return of Sexy Karen Allen as the elderly Marion Ravenwood in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Why not just make another Cocoon sequel instead?

I am also very excited. The story lines after episode 6 are a bit strange, so I wonder how it all plays out.

They've already got a black stormtrooper who also happens to be a race baiter, so I'm guessing we'll get to see a gay wookie traveling the universe in the name of social justice by improving school lunch programs. Also, the wookie will wear Darth Vader's old helmet which it found floating in the Death Star debris. The look will be so powerful that it awakens Luke's diminishing force, which he will insert into said wookie, and together they will travel the stars in a wonderful spaceship they acquire through Imperial imminent domain.

Not fan fiction, but the Star Wars canon from novels and comics some of which have been set in the events after ROTJ.

They go from Fett clones to human recruits + new clones of the best human recruits to only human recruits to more diverse recruits as time goes on.
