    Some trivia...Over 63 years the Miss Universe Contest has evolved into an annual tradition celebrating intelligence, poise and of course, beauty.

    This study plots the trends in ** BMI for Miss Universe Winners Vs the Average American Woman

    ** BMI = Body Mass Index

    What were the results of this study?

    I wonder if when they decided to do this study if they thought the results would be anything different than what was determined?

    Today woman are under what seems a constant barrage of tips or methods to 'look great'. What woman need to realize is that it's the whole person that needs maintenance in terms of some healthy balance and an overall mindset and attitude of promoting Peace and Harmony on this earth. I enjoy happy and funny people with a positively infectious attitude. I enjoy that person who has a glass half full outlook on life. I enjoy people who easily smile or laugh. I'm somewhat fascinated by people who come into my life from different cultural backgrounds and share with me.

      Here's a story that clearly makes the point on a woman's body image as I attempt to do in my comments in the original post. Woman need NOT live up to 'Gold Measured' standards in terms of a certain body image to be happy with themselves. To be accepted with the society as a whole.:
