My Dad was always at work.

I don't know how to feel about the fact that James T. Kirk was my primary male role model before age 11 or 12.

You could do a hell of a lot worse. But really, it's Spock versus McCoy, logic/reason versus emotion with Kirk integrating it all (and getting hotties). What could be better?
