I looked at the call on the golf ball moving as Dustin Johnson addressed it. Again it's my view that the Officials got this one wrong. Johnson did nothing to make the ball move what about a mm. The official on the spot ruled right then and there 'no penalty' but those back in the viewing room had to get involved and screwed up ! Why put more pressure on Johnson by informing him that a one stroke penalty may be assessed after the round was over? Did they imagine he needed that added pressure?
All said and done this was a tremendous challenge on a course that was dramatically devoid of trees. The course was the winner overall as it demanded more than the Pro's could deliver.
