Do I really care?
Compared to many things, no. But there is no way that band belongs in there. I just don't get it. Even if album sales and general popularity are enough, one monster album shouldn't be enough.
Plus there is the deadly combination of way too much radio play at a time I listened to a lot of radio AND the fact that the songs are terrible. Its the kind of music you don't rediscover and are horrified when its played ironically at a wedding.
