I did. Went back and re-read some of it. That is one trippy thread.

I read an article that said this specific aircraft did not have a terrain avoidance/warning system.
The NTSB reports will be interesting. Some odd things have been reported so far.

What are the oddities being reported ? Flying too low for area ? Bad vision ? Read he was an outstanding pilot. So sad overall
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Bad visibility. L.A. Police Dept. had grounded all their helicopters because of fog.

              Operator error.

Having cleaned up airplane wrecks in the past, all of which were operator error, they are ugly scenes.

              Really sucks about the kiddos.

Probably a human factor for sure...but let the NTSB do their job.

Pretty confident NTSB doesn’t check PR for investigative strategies, but one never knows.

Leave no stone unturned and all that.
