The "Miracle on Ice" was played earlier but didn't air till evening. So no one watching knew how it would end, until an anchorman blurted a spoiler.

Guy was only 31 or so at the time and died at 46 of a heart ailment. Which should teach a lesson to all those mean people who called the station to complain.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
