I think the whole crowd thing only works when you’re physically at the game. I honestly can’t think of a single time in my 20 years of watching the packers and badgers from my living room couch where I was more into the game because of the fans or more convinced of a ref blowing a call. At best they provide stupid signs for us to read after commercial breaks.

Only place having fake anything pumped in is for comedians. Anyone try to watch Bill Maher without his audience being told to laugh? Literally can’t tell when he’s joking. Which maybe says something about his talent.
