while I agree in concept, Scott in regards to censorship, i don't think you can compare CE to the situation.

censoring on language and content is different from removing a post spammed in multiple threads. There have been a few posts were people basically told him to shut the hell up. I highly doubt anyone here would leave the site if those posts were removed.

This site is pretty unique in that censorship seems to be abhored by leadership as much as it is by the members. There's no question that PackerChatters wouldn't tolerate this stuff. But I'm not sure we want to be PackerChatters. It's a free for all in here most of the time. And I think a lot of people like it like that. Yeah, there are fights. But it's not out of control like at JSO. It's a pretty good balance in my opinion.

It's a lot of extra work to censor posts, and when you do you subject yourself to lots of potential second guessing by members.

I thought it was kind of fascinating to watch members here stick up for the Bear trolls rather than compromise their values and side with Matt. I thought it said a lot about the character of the group. If Tank were here, he could have written a paper on it!

Hey, we were all sick of their crap and are very happy to get away from it. But they haven't been a problem here and if they are, you know they won't last.

Matt was clearly looking to disrupt the place from the very first time he became a member here.

I don't think it's a fair assumption to base a fellow posters values based upon that.

That's awesome, I've always wanted to go to an opposing teams stadium but it's kind of a problem with my parents. When I get older I want to check out the Big House and maybe Kinnick Stadium or the Horsehoe.
