  • Fantasy Baseball League

First off, I didn't put this in the Brewers section because I don't think enough people visit that forum and nobody would this.

I'm trying to get a consensus on if we have enough people to get a fantasy baseball league together. I know a lot of people on here dislike baseball, but I think there might be enough people to do a 12 man league. If we had enough people we could work out the rules, but I was thinking of doing it 5x5 roto style. Post or PM me if you're interested.

    I'd play.

We're 1/4 of the way there.

C'mon I know there are some other baseball guys out there. Bretsky? Swede? Craig? Badgermaine?

I would give it a thought. A lot depends on roster and transaction windows and such. Baseball can be very time demanding.

Also, fees or entry amount, if any.

Last year was my first fantasy baseball championship in five years. It is a lot of fun.

Count Tyrone in. Tyrone loves baseball. Often, after a 3 or 4 day crack binge, Tyrone has been known to confuse a baseball with a very large hit of crack. Surprisingly, a very good high.

This would obviously be discussed but I was thinking an 5x5 roto league, using an auction, not a draft. Daily roster changes. I doubt we'd do any fee or anything because I don't think everyone on here would want to do a money league, no matter how small. If they did, however, I'd be open to it.

And you're right, Red, fantasy baseball is head and shoulders above fantasy football. Way more roster turnover, way more strategy, way more time needed. It can be challenging.

Barry Bonds made me hate baseball.

A little late (ok, a couple months late), but I used the search feature to see if someone had already started a thread like this..Otherwise I would've..

                              I would play..

P.S. 10 people is enough to start a league on cbssportsline, I believe
