Now I'm chauvinistic enough to think we have some great bands with great songs, regardless of our country's size. I've learned some great tracks via this thread, so now it's time to give back. I'm going to try to each week post one of our finest bands, made in Belgium. To make the transition easy, I'll start with the groups that sing in English.

I'm curious to see if you like it or not.

I'm going to start with Absynthe Minded, a rockband with a lot of jazz influences. Their 2 top songs (IMO) are Envoi and My Heroics, Part 1. Enjoy it...

Re-focusing on Music:

Lightfoot has looked more and more in failing health. He's so thin, I wonder if he'll survive another winter? He worked much of his early career very close to where I reside. We often shop in in Orillia, Ontario....about 35 minutes drive from Mae and my home on Georgian Bay.

The first time I saw my Sis's guy Dan play and sing the "Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzerald", my heart hurt. I found tears in my eyes. Dan covered this awesome song very well. It's also one of my favourites to perform with a strong East coast accent.

I love that man as much as I did Stompin' Tom Connors who we will forever miss and enjoy through his special songs and performance style.

I've a special gift of the ability to focus and immerse myself in my work. I've unusual energy...and it's been that way all my life. Part of that, honed in an immersion in a lot of things and far Eastern Philosophy ie Zen and Martial Arts for over five decades.

Scott Campbell simply went off the deep end in his compulsions and me. That was truly sad.

You....your not worth the moisture off the finger pads of anyone here you would stalk mraynrand. Your obviously somehow compelled to hate and or bully. Your life has been sad but there's always help if you can afford the ticket.

Why your so dreadfully sad would offer an interesting case study and challenge for any psychiatrist. Maybe that might come at a minimum charge !? Just a thought and or idea for you mraynrand.
