This was fun to watch. It's almost like traveling personally in Canada. You'll get some feel for what it's like up here.
Your host is Kim Berly (drums, vocals) for the Stampeders and an original member and he'll hookup with the other two originals Ronnie King (rhythm guitar, vocals) and their solid lead guitarist Rich Dodson (lead guitar, vocals).
The Stampeders band members are hooking up to do a gig in 'the Maritimes' (Halifax, Nova Scotia).
You'll see the guys hooking up and the fun they have. It's like a first day 'duck hunt'.
You'll see a little bit of a sound check @ the venue for this gig... or at the Halifax, NS Casino....etc. Right up to 'show time'. The aftermath of the big show. Lot's of Maritimers out to se a band they love...loads of excitement. The LIVE video I presented in this post was from this gig, I believe.
I hope it was fun for you to watch such band vet's have so much fun with really is their hobby. The band continues to this day touring Canada doing fairs, festivals, casinos and theatres.

" In 1964, drummer Kim Berly (born Kim Meyer) answered an ad in a Calgary newspaper to join a band called the Rebounds, which consisted of lead guitarist Rich Dodson, bassist Brendan Lyttle and rhythm guitarist Len Roemer; Berly also brought his brother Al (who went by the name Race Holiday) into the fold to sing lead.
In January of 1965, they changed their name to the Stampeders, after signing a managerial contract with Mel Shaw. At this point Roemer decided to call it quits and was replaced with Cornelius Van Sprang (stage name Ronnie King) and his brother Emile (stage name Van Louis) whose band The Echo Tones had just split up. This is a taste of what it was like for Canadian Rock Stars 'the Stampeders' back in the 1970's. Lot's and lotssaaaa chicks !! LOL Those were .... the days. Some of us had the pleasure of living in them. The 1960's & 70's and music and just how much that became a part of our normal lives. That was the way it was with the people I chummed with. Bar, tavern, and arena bands. Lots of them to enjoy. That's what we did back in the Maritimes during the colder months.... until barbecue and beach weather. Then it was the music of these bands that we continued to party to while camping or at bonfires. Those days were so filed up with job responsibilities and activities in recreational sports. Martial arts and various competitions. The family and close friends stuff and the children to attend to and school activities. Short trips to a city like Montreal to see the Montreal Canadians or the EXPOS (MLB). I loved the Expos et les Habitants de Montrrreaal. 'Of course' from afar I loved my green bay Packers (since 1958).
I loved my Milwaukee Braves back then and Henry 'Hammerin Hank' Aaron was my HERO. Along with The Big 'M', Frank Mahovlich of the Toronto Maple leafs, Detroit Red Wings and Montreal Canadians ..Les Habs.
