In honor of Yes Bassist Chris Squire, who just died relatively suddenly from a rare form of leukemia. He talks about the first time he met Jimi Hendrix... good story.

                With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
                Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
                A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

Guitarist Billy Zoom, a founding member of long-running L.A. punk band X, has been diagnosed with bladder cancer and will bow out of the group’s current tour to undergo treatment after a run of shows this weekend in Orange County.

The takeaway from that video is how ugly we all become. That guy was vaguely handsome not very long ago. Guys are good-to-go in their 50s if they go easy on the donuts. "Distinguished." The 60s hit like a ton of bricks for all - right in the face. I'm not sure how long the chickenhawking can last. Coz is special, he has charisma.

I watched a Biopic of Hendrix a few months back and there was a scene in there in which Hendrix went up on stage with Cream. He launched into Killing Floor, and played so out of this world that Clapton walked off stage.

I knew that Hendrix had played with Cream, but I hadn't heard about the Clapton to-do, so I looked into a little bit.

Turns out that Clapton did, in fact, walk off stage, and did ask Chas Chandler in a state of awe, if he (Hendrix) was really that good. Clapton had always said that Killing Floor was one of the hardest pieces to play, and that he was reluctant to play it live on stage - and for Hendrix to just come up out of the audience and blast it out, he was just blown away.

P.S. Did you watch that Ladybaby video?? lol... it's a gas!!! Heavy Metal meets asian chicks in plaid skirts, lol... Can't go wrong with that combo!!!

The guy goes by the moniker Ladybeard... and, yes, one of the girls is 18, so she is entirely hittable The other one is only 16, so have to wait for her
