and JH..I love Joe Walsh. This is the Eagle I dred learning has died.
I'm also a Poco Nut. A fan of the band POCO and awesome Eagle addition and former POCO bassest/singer Timothy B. Schmit. In 1998, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Eagles, the first year they were nominated.
What a fine voice !
Timothy B. Schmidt was a talented asset to the Eagles. I saw him with POCO LIVE @ Massey Hall in Toronto, Canada in 1971. What an amazing concert for us POCO fans. It was a whole lot of Cowboy hats and boots and blue Jeans....T-shirts advertising POCO and we claped so hard our skin wore off.
Timothy B. Schmit is rather unique in my experience....and I do music most every day. His vocals - pitch perfect, The Eagles gained an edge in terms of vocal refinement when they very smartly recruited Timothy B. Schmit. He's also a very fine....bass player who can 'thump it'. I'm going to look for one of my most favourite Eagles tunes and off 'The Long Run' album >>> ' Disco Strangler'. I hope I can locate it to >>> here !
