To see Jeff Healey 'LIVE' was always a fantastic experience. I traveled out one night while I was doing my Education Degree in Fredericton, New Brunswick in a blinding snowstorm to see this wonderful guitarist/singer perform at the Campus's Social Club. It was really great and up close and personal as he performed about six feet fr.where I stood in amazement. Jeff Healey left us far too soon at 41 years dying of cancer. He had a rare form of cancer that left him blind nearly fr. birth but took up the guitar and began to play. What an awesome player and singer he was: A huge loss to Canadian blues fans. Check out his long version of 'ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER' at the end of this post. Anything he did was too good.
