nice R.E.M. song. They can't make bad music cause of vocals. not many good singers in the world, let alone great ones.

That song sure has a nostalgic, retrospective feel to it. Makes me actually feel good about the band again. I still remember exactly where I was when I was driving along listening to MSOE's radio station and heard the first 5 seconds of Radio Free Europe; I was 18 years old. I bought every album that came out for the next 8 years and played them until the needle practically went through the vinyl....then they seemed to jump the shark; they were everywhere, become redundant. This is a nice song.

I agree. The vocals are nice in that song, but the tune makes me feel like I'm walking through K-Mart.

P.S. Vinyl? Needle? What are you talking about?

I bought the SegaCD attachment for the Genesis as a youth, and this was on a demo disc in the box. Best $200 I ever spent...

I can still remember going through the video frame by frame, sure I would catch a glimpse of a bare breast. In the words of The Shatner, "it hasn't happened yet."

But this song comes to mind every time I see a reference to anal sex. Ahhh, memories.

*ps: the video does work, but doesn't actually start for like 15 seconds. I think they called that "building tension" in the biz.
