Sorry to learn the Badgers did not advance to play the Oregon Ducks. The Ducks are relatively weak inside. I think the Badgers stronger inside game could have taken the Ducks.

I disagree with this. Butch only had one dominating game all season and had overall pedestrian numbers. The Badgers strength was their overall depth so losing another big guy with limited athletism shouldn't have been a loss that submarines a season.

I wrote months ago that the thing that may derail this team come tourney time is their 3 pt shooting woes and inaccuracy from the FT line. Both of which proved fatal today.

I agree. Any team that can't overcome the loss of an average starter against average teams probably wasn't going to get far anyways.

I blew the Wisconsin pick. How did I move UP? I had Wis slated to win it all.

I posted those standings before the Wisconsin game.

Disagree with both; Butch is no star, but what they lost is two fold

                1. A legit #3 scorer
                2. An offensive player who brings the center out from under the hoop to open up the inside game for Tucker.

The season was done when Butch went down.

The refs cheated Butler out of that one.

G'Town and Vandy are in a good game.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that thought Florida got some breaks, but what can you do. The announcers were talking about Florida imposing their will. Gag! How about Butler missing some layups and Florida getting some calls.

I picked Georgetown to win the whole thing, but it sure looked Green traveled big-time on that last play. Thems da breaks, I guess.

Yeah, I have GT winning it, too. Part of me wanted to see the upset, but the other half didn't want to see my bracket fall into shambles.

Bad night for the officials, and Billy Packer sucks. USC may have had a guy knocked down on a 3 point attempt late, but I wouldn't know because CBS never showed a replay. USC was very upset. Then, with 45 seconds left and USC down 6, the officials call a lame call at that point in the game. They called a moving screen on a play that guys (e.g. Tyler Hansborough) get away with all game. I can't even be sure it was a moving screen. Looked like the guy may have gotten set, and then the UNC guy runs into him. Bad call at that point. Tim Floyd then makes a bone-headed move. Pretty average job of officiating tonight. I thought the team that deserved to win probably won all of the games, but the breaks seemed to be pretty one-sided in most of the games tonight.

What do you guys think of Oregon's freshman 5' 6" guard Tujuan Porter? The kid scores 32 points as the smallest man on the court!

Oregon's other guard, Aaron Brooks, had an off night. Averaging 18 points a game, he only scored 7.

Though the Ducks are a quick team, they are no match for Florida. Florida's inside big men will eat them up.

It'll be a good game; Florida isn't bringing their A game lately.

I can't believe I nailed the final 8; I suppose seeing I picked about all the favorites it's no biggie.
