I respect law enforcement and appreciate the work you have to do - but I disagree strongly with the actual punishment side of law. And COPS is one of my alltime favorite shows - nothing like being all drunk and watching other dumbasses get cuffed!
But America's drug war is long over - and progressive states in the West (like Cali) will end it officially in years to come.The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.

On a lighter note, the libertarians in CA are definitely growing (two minor puns). West Hollywood's city council recently told the police to put MJ prosecution lower on the list than jaywalking.
If you've seen CA impact on healthcare reform, energy/environmental reform, gay/lesbian rights, etc., etc. - you'll see a pattern. Next up is immigration, tax reform and hopefully followed by the drug war....The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.
