If it's in the best interest of the forum not to have it posted, then why did you post it in the first place?

It's a hexadecimal number floating around the internet that is used to decode the HD-DVD and Blu-Ray DVD encryption algorithms. In reality, it might be in your best interest to delete this post. I figured you would have already.
I figured it was something stupid, thank you for confirming. I'd like to say I expect better from you but I really dont. Maybe you should go somewheres else to post if you think it is OK for you to take chances with the site because its not and you continue to show your immaturity and inconsiderate attitude towards others.

In other words, you are a selfish fucking punk and need to grow up.

I have to jump in here and defend Partial and say that it is very unlikely that anyones lawyers would ever harass you over having just the code up. Considering that there are a million sites with it as their headline. With a little know how you could use those numbers to defeat the DVDs copy protection but most folks won't want to go through the hassle and I never saw that he had posted the instructions. I was joking with him when I said it could get Rats taken down....but it is better not to tempt fate.....she can be a bitter hellcat at times.

considering I posted a NUMBER and nothing else, I don't think I did anything wrong. You should really learn what the hell you're talking about.

I could rewrite it in octal, binary, tearny, decimal, etc. All it is is a NUMBER.

Because I have joined in the massive internet protest of bullshit. Cease and desists are being taken down wherever the number is being posted, so people are posting it everywhere to provide strength in numbers. Nice play on words their if I do say so myself, as well as a nice digg at the philosophy of one Ted Thompson.

Also, considering the open discussion of piracy in several threads here, I don't see how posting a NUMBER is a bad thing. Jesus fucking christ, its no different than writing

0010 or 2 or 2 or 2 or 2 or 2. They all mean the exact same thing.

It really doesn't matter what it is or does, the fact is it is strictly a number that anyone can write or say, etc is all that matters. That is why there is a HUGE internet protest.

At least Kevin Rose manned up and joined behind his cult of followers. Not so much manning up, but I suppose he realizes that he will keep his money if his site goes down from a seize and desist, but he will not if he loses his fans.

So the site owner asks you not to post something and you act like this? Whether or not it will harm the site is irrelevant. Its time to figure it out already.

Partial, you are no longer welcome here. Though Im sure you will make ANOTHER duplicate account and get new IPs to get on because you have no life and nothing better to do. You are truly a sad excuse for a man because you have no honor and no sense of loyalty.
