Below is a photo of suicide bomb teams assigned to carry out attacks in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Germany at their al Qaeda/Taliban training camp graduation ceremony held June 9 in Afghanistan.

Supposedly these are 300 Americans, Canadians, British and Germans who traveled to Afghanistan to receive this training, become organized into cells and then return to their "home" countries.

The ceremony was held ten days ago and the story came out today via an invited Pakistani journalist so it is safe to assume that most of these individuals have had enough time to reenter their countries.

Homeland Security Official: No Imminent Al Qaeda Threat to U.S.

    Monday , June 18, 2007

    (FOX News)

There is no credible intelligence suggesting an imminent Al Qaeda threat to the U.S., a Homeland Security Official told FOX News Monday night after ABC News posted a report claiming large teams of newly trained homicide bombers were being sent to America and Europe.

The ABC News report was linked to a videotape that showed teams assigned to carry out attacks in the U.S., Canada, Britain and Germany being introduced during an Al Qaeda and Taliban training camp graduation ceremony on July 9.

The tape shows Taliban military commander Mansoor Dadullah introducing, then congratulating each team as they stood.

"These Americans, Canadians, British and Germans come here to Afghanistan from faraway places," Dadullah said on the tape. "Why shouldn't we go after them?"

The leader of the team assigned to attack Britain then spoke in English.

"So let me say something about why we are going, along with my team, for a suicide attack in Britain," he said. "Whether my colleagues, companions and Muslim brothers die today or tonight, every drop of our blood will invigorate the Muslim (unintelligible)."

However, a U.S. official said that the video appears to be part of a propaganda mission, as other cameras are seen at the event. ABC News also reported that a Pakistani journalist was invited to snap photos of the roughly 300 recruits, some as young as 12.

All's I can say, if there is another terrorist attack on these United States, all of Iraq and Afghanistan need to be immediately turned into the largest sandbox on the planet... No ifs ands or buts.

With two car bombs and one apparent suicide(?) attack in England on one day it makes one wonder if this story and today's events are linked.

There is little credible evidence that most of the al-Quada terrorists come from Afghanistan and Iraq. There are some al-Quada terrorists in those countries for sure, but al-Quada is spread not only throughout most of the Islamic world but in many other Western countries as well.

The subway bomings in London were done by English-born and raised Islamics. Shall we lay waster to the UK in order to get rid of the al-Quada there?

Increased intelligence and commando types of units are the way to defeat terrorists not large scale, conventional armies.

And they are all have connections with Pakistan. All 4 of the bombers took classes at a Madras, while in Pakistan. This is home-grown terror, but the outside world still plays a large role in their development. The message that is being taught in England right now is far more dangerous then the ones being taught in Afghanistan. They have a much younger group of men, many of them who are searching for something, and they turn them into hate-filled Muslims. Islam is not a hateful religion. Really, Islam is not that different from Judaism or Christianity. If taught moderately it is a fine religion. However, when Fundamentalists enter the picture and start literally interpreting the Quran's messages, that's when you have a problem.

The problem with all of our intelligence collecting is that there is so many claims of attacks that it is hard to figure out what is creditable and what isn't. Islamic Terrorists should go to work for marketing firms. They know how to play us and the media.

I like the sandbox idea but then again, we could use a few more golf courses. And you have to know that all of that oil would be nice too.
