Imagine you're going to live in Portugal.
You find a lovely farmhouse set on a decent plot of land.
The place has been empty for 15 years...
While exploring your new property you find a large barn.
The door is padlocked and welded shut and it's all rusted solid.

That would be an amazing deal. You hear stories like this once in a while where a treasure was found in the house or garage.

If you read the snopes article, it says that pretty much all the facts that make this such an interesting story are wrong.

The real story is that the guy who owns all these cars was an automobile dealer who stored his collection in this barn. When the barn was full, he sealed it up. More recently, he unsealed the barn and had these photos taken so he can document the collection.

The real story has no serendipitous buried-treasure aspect, and it strikes me as a sad commentary on how collecting things can get out of hand. At first, the collection is a source of joy, with new joy derived from each new addition. But eventually the collection can become large enough and new additons routine enough that interest is lost and the accumulated possessions become something of an albatross.

Doesn't seem like this guy stashed these cars away with a whole lot of concern for keeping them clean and in good condition. Doesn't look like he gets much joy out of owning them. Maybe he had them photographed because he plans to cash them in.
