please explan to me how this works.

    1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out to eat.
(more than once but less than 10)

    2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

    3. Add 5

    4. Multiply it by 50

    5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1757...
    If you haven't, add 1756.

    6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number.

The first digit of this was your original number. (I.e., How many times you want to go out to restaurants in a week.)

    The next two numbers are

YOUR AGE ! ------ (Oh YES, it is!!!)
To much of a good thing is an awesome thing

Let's say you're 24 years old and your bday is in November and you want to go out 3x week.

      1. Let x = number of times going out per week
      2. multiply by 2: 2x
      3. add 5: 2x + 5
      4. multiply by 50: (2x + 5) x 50 = 100x + 250
      5. add 1756 (let's say you haven't had your bday yet): 100x + 2006
      6. subtract birthyear (let's say, 1982): 100x + 2006 - 1982 = 100x + 24
      7. so, if you chose 3 times per week, your number is 324.

A friend of mine helped me out with this one. The bottom line is that the formula works out to be:

          100x + (current year - birth year)

With a little fudging to get the current year to work to result in the correct age.

They take you the long way to get there, but it is consistent no matter what numbers you plug in.

          Pretty interesting.

Thanks, Packface. I'm going to use this to dazzle and amaze.

Now, do you have anything where you can accurately guess someone's weight?
