"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson
A baseball broadcaster (i believe for the Whitesox, who is a white american) responded monday when he was wished a happy may day, "muchos gracias". (is that spelled right?? i can't spell in english so there is no way i can spell in spanish!)
on a spanish side note. my uncle's son, who recently moved from Venezuela and couldn't speak a word of english, after living here for 6 months was selected to the national honor society of english. I don't know if it means that he caught on extremely fast or how bad the rest of the high school is. it reminds me of the line from King of the Hill. "Bobby, you got a "D" in English!!! Bobby, You SPEAK english!!!!"
