I'm not exactly saying he was an everyday redneck. That was the character he played. Course he might really be one.

Lots of talk radio/morning shows have guys like that or white trash characters. In orlando they have the sexy savannah who supposedly was a stripper. In jacksonville there is bubba who plays his geetar, talks about muddin, etc.

Dont tell me he's not, it would ruin the expierence. There are characters on radio show over here but no redneck ones on the stations I listen to. I like the Savvanh one though!

I also like Frank Caliendo. His John Madden impression is so good I'd rather listen to him than the real John Madden. At least he doesn't pretend he makes sense.
Doughnuts, is there anything they can't do?

He's great on the Daily Show. I also saw a bit of his stand up on a different show. That had me rolling as well.

You've got to see him live. It's just hilarious to watch his mannerisms on stage. I met him at a local comedy club here in the TC before he hit the main circuit and he's so cool and down-to-earth.

Plus, yeah, the Daily Show connection. Aside from loving that show, his "Back In Black" segments are hilarious (second only to "This Week In God" by Colbert).

What do you think of This week in God by Rob Corrdry?

Oooops. You caught me. Sadly, I haven't seen the Daily Show in a couple months. I love it, but I can't seem to get to a TV to watch ANY shows anymore. Been too busy. So, I haven't seen This Week In God with Corddry, but he's extremely funny too. He's no Colbert, but I bet he fills in pretty well. How do you like it with Corddry?

Not as well as Colbert. He can pull it off completely deadpan. Corrdry just doesn't have the same delivery . It's still good, just not as good as Colbert. Does this mean you haven't seen the Colbert Report either? My favorite part of that show is The Word.
