Actually, now that I think about it, I have no money, no one wants to talk to me, I'm irrelevant, I'm crusty, cranky and old....I think I'll go as Duncan Hunter. I won't even need a costume.
Or you could go as Mike Gravel. Less people will recognize you that way.

Highland collie? I ended up going to a costume party dressed as a soccer player. At least I was comfortable and as the hosts are huge soccer fans, it went over well with them.

I saw something yesterday that I have never seen with trick-or-treaters before.....and I saw it with THREE different kids....
kids in costume...kids carrying candy...kids with cellphone in hand.
Yeah, my 13 year old went out with 2 of her friends for their last "Fling" at Trick or Treating.
I positioned myself in the car in the neighborhood with my cell phone(yes, my daughter has her own cell phone). We agreed she would finish at 8:00 p.m.
To make sure some parents did not think I was some type of "Perv" sitting in a parked car, I wore my bright yellow cycling jacket, and kept the parking lights and dome light on(every once in a while, I started up the car to avoid wearing down the battery). I spent the time reading.
My daughter called at 8 as instructed. Cell phones can be an asset if they are not abused.
They can, yet I was waiting with my son at Noodles to place our order and in front of us were a group of girls, I'd say 7 of them. Four of the 7 had phones pressed to their ears, another was playing with her phone and the rest were listening to what the ones on the phones were saying. It was like they didn't know how to talk to each other in person.
